About us
Mini Munchkins Nursery
Mini Munchkins is owned by Michelle Turner and Louise Martin. Established in 2015 as a term time preschool we offered care to children aged 6 months to 5 years in a large church hall in Upper Norwood. Four and a half years later we moved to our very own day nursery in Croydon operating 48 weeks of the year, 5 days a week opening from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
We believe that children learn best when they are playing. With 'in the moment planning' we encourage the children to play with what they are interested in and letting them explore the natural environment around them.
We are all a family here at Mini Munchkins Nursery. We offer a lovely home from home environment.
What we offer at Mini Munchkins Nursery
A safe, secure grassed garden area
Outdoor play
Our children have access to a lovely open plan garden area where the children can increase their gross motor skills. Our over 3's have free flow access into the garden daily. With slides, crates, balance beams, mud kitchen, sand pit and much more to play with and investigate.
Preschool learning and care
Preschool graduations
We as a daycare provider prepare your child in readiness for school. At the end of the Summer term our preschoolers have an end of year graduation where parents are invited to attend. Our older children have access to books, writing materials fro mark making, home learning and much more.
Dedicated Baby care
From aged 3 months
We know it must be so hard going back to work after having a baby and new parents may need care for their baby who they know they can trust. With experienced and qualified staff who are also parents themselves will look after your little one with safe care in a lovely room dedicated to our under 2's. We offer the best start for your baby.
