A non refundable deposit of £150 is payable upon a completed application form. A Deposit is to secure a space and settle sessions on full Day sessions and afternoon sessions when a child attends a funded morning.

We charge a £50 non refundable admin fee

Minimum of 2 days attendance.

15/30 Government funding and Transparency of any extra voluntary payments
At Mini Munchkins Nursery we are committed to providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children. We offer a welcoming and supportive environment for all children attending our services, including those utilizing government-funded hours. For children attending under the government-funded hours scheme, we ensure that they benefit from the full range of activities, resources, and opportunities that support their development.
What We Charge for:

Breakfast, lunch and snack

Care Packages: Nappies, wipes, sun cream, emergency medication, spare clothes

Spanish classes or baby classes per week

Special Occasion package: Graduation, Christmas, Mothers and Father’s day events.
Charges: For children attending the government-funded hours, we offer this at no additional cost but kindly ask for a voluntary consumable fee a week. However, if additional hours or services beyond the funded hours are required, these will be charged at a rate £10 per any additional hour. We offer a discounted PM session 1.53pm until 6pm at £35 a session.
We are dedicated to ensuring that each child’s experience is positive, and we work closely with parents to tailor care and education to the individual needs of their child.

Help with Childcare Costs: Funding, Benefits & Tax-Free Credits
We understand that childcare costs can be a significant expense for families. To support parents, there are various funding options, benefits, and tax-free credits available to help with childcare fees. Below is a guide to the financial assistance you may be eligible for:
Government-Funded Childcare
Free Early Education Entitlement (England)

15 Hours Funded Childcare: Available for all 3 and 4-year-olds. Eligible for working parents of 2 year olds and 9 month olds.

15 Hours Funded Childcare: Eligible for 2 year old families on low income.

30 Hours Funded Childcare: Available for eligible working parents of 3 and 4-year-olds.

30 Hours Funded Childcare: Available for eligible working parents of 9 month olds as of September 2025

Please be aware that funding start's a term after a child turns of age.
Tax-Free Childcare

Parents can get up to £2,000 per child per year (£4,000 if your child has a disability) to help with childcare costs.

For every £8 you pay, the government adds £2.

Eligibility: Working parents earning at least the National Minimum Wage for 16 hours a week but less than £100,000 per year.

Universal Credit for Childcare

If you are working and claiming Universal Credit, you can claim back up to 85% of childcare costs.

Monthly limits: Up to £950 for one child and £1,630 for two or more children.

Support for Students

If you’re in higher education, you may be eligible for a Childcare Grant to cover up to 85% of childcare costs.
